Goodwill of South Central Ohio
Since 1959, Goodwill of South Central Ohio has been partnering with individuals with disabilities to help them lead the lives they envision. We seek to hire passionate DSPs who will help us become the most respected provider of services to individuals with disabilities and challenges in each of our eight counties: Athens, Fayette, Hocking, Jackson, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, and Vinton.
Our Opportunities
Our DSPs work across three key service areas:
1- Workforce Development - Our employment specialists are DSPs who provide various services based on an individual's need, but their primary goal is to help people with disabilities and challenges secure a job they enjoy in their community. We also have job coaches who provide on-the-job assessments and supports.
2- Adult Day Services - Our Activities and Training Centers provide individuals with a place to go during the day. Our DSPs help with life and work skills and connecting individuals with their communities through trips and activities. DSPs assist individuals with personal care needs as required.
3- Homemaker Personal Care - Our CARE Program provides similar services as our day services program but at an individual's home. A DSP's job duties will depend on an individual's needs and also may include light cleaning and cooking. We strive to match DSPs with individuals with whom they will be able to connect more easily with over shared interests.
