Position Description

Title: Direct Support Professional

Reports to: Home Manager/Program Specialist/Operations Director

Compensation $10 Hourly Benefits Offered Medical, Dental Employment Type Full-Time & Part Time

Overall responsibilities:

Work in a residential setting assisting individuals served in becoming self-sufficient, self-advocating, self-driven individuals.

Detailed responsibilities:

· Assist individuals to achieve and exceed their personal goals based on their individual specific plan.

· Provide structure and create a positive peer to peer relationships.

· Assist individuals with personal hygiene including bathing, feeding, dressing, etc.- if needed.

· Complete detailed, accurate documentation as assigned.

· Promote Community Inclusion for the individuals served.

· Help maintains & promote a safe and clean environment for the individuals.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the field of DD field is preferred.

· Ability to communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external team members to positively represent BLESS, LLC.

· Must be reliable, 18 years or older and have proof of High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid Driver’s License & Proof of Auto Insurance. A driver abstract, and BCI check will be conducted.

· Must be able to provide past work references.

· Must be able to lift to 50lbs.

· Must be able to work every other weekend. Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd third shifts.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Management or supervision experience in the field of DD field is preferred but not required.
Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with consumers, guardians, staff and other team members.
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external team members to positively represent BLESS, LLC.
Must be reliable, 18 years or older and have proof of High school diploma or equivalent.
