Subscription Instructions

On the homepage at the very bottom you will see “Are You a Provider?” Click “Subscribe” and this will take you to the Subscription Form and your agency profile.

STEP 1

You can see that some of the information is required, others are up to you.
Each organization must provide an email and create a password. The email address you provide for the counties you identify will be the email address that receives the job seekers personal contact information. This email cannot be changed.

Outside of the selected email, there is incredible flexibility as to what types of information you upload and how you want it to appear (text, video, pictures, etc.). Job seekers will be able to see all of the information entered in these boxes and this can be changed. This is where your agency will make the case for why a job seeker should apply. Note: when loading your agency’s logo, the image must fit within 390 pixels wide by 220 pixels high.

If your agency wants to have the same information listed for all of your counties and want all of the contact information to go to one person, you only need to make one provider profile.

If your agency wants to have the same information listed for all of the counties but wants certain applicants in certain counties to go to a specific email, you will need to set up separate provider profiles. Ex- Your agency, ABC 123 Care, provides HPC services in Washington county, Noble county, Monroe county, Mercer county, and Darke county. You want the contact information submitted in Washington, Noble, and Monroe county to go to one regional staff member and the contact information submitted in Mercer and Darke county to go to a different regional staff member. You will need to create two different provider profiles using the emails of the selected staff. You will need separate email addresses for each new provider profile you create for other county or groups of counties with different information. The profiles can have the same name, logo and additional content. Despite displaying the same content, when a job seeker sends their contact information in Washington county, it will go to the selected Washington/Noble/Monroe regional staff’s email member but not to the Mercer/Darke regional staff member.

If your agency wants to have different information listed for different counties or groups of counties, you will need to create a new provider profile for each count or groups of counties.
1- Your agency, ABC 123 Care, provides only residential services in Washington county, Noble county, and Monroe county, but provides day services and residential services in Mercer county and Darke county and want your provider profile to reflect the diversity of services. You have two options- 1- in “Our Opportunities” simply write out what opportunities you have in each county. Because this is under one profile, all job seeker contact information will go to the one provided email.

2- You create separate provider profile for Washington, Noble, and Monroe county and one provider profile for Mercer and Darke county. With each new profile, you can customize and tailor all of the content to match the services delivered in that county or group of counties, including, but not limited to “Our Opportunities” and “Contact”. Each different provider profiles must be tied to a unique email address. When a job seeker sends their contact information in Washington county, it will go to the selected Washington/Noble/Monroe regional staff member but not to the Mercer/Darke regional staff member. If you want all of the submitted contact information to go through one staff member, we suggest using the first method.

Some content tips from DSPOhio’s advertising firm, Fahlgrin Mortine:
• Keep the message concise and simple.
• Sixth grade reading level is ideal; avoid multi-syllabic words.
• Avoid too much industry jargon and terminology that isn’t simple or commonly understood. There will be opportunities for job seekers to learn about the field, but it is not required that job seekers read the content before submitting their contact information. Using commonly understood terminology will ensure job seekers fully understand the scope of the job.
• Video is one of the best ways to share your story; helps make the emotional and rational connection and it’s highly shareable. To add video to your profile, we suggest uploading the video to YouTube and then embedding the video in one of the content slots. Click here to learn how to add a video to your profile.
• Consider the facts and emotions that drive people to consider a career in your field.

Step 2

After filling out your profile, select the counties in which you wish to be listed and click submit.

Note: Please only select counties that you currently provide services or are in the process of providing service in that county.

You will receive a confirmation email of your subscription and with your own log-in information you can edit your profile as often as you wish. You are now a DSPOhio subscribed provider!
